Okay, I don't like to read, i think it just takes too long! I just like to watch the movies, because there just two hours. But this book is absolutely amazing! It takes place in New York City, in the late 50's, or early 60's. It's about a gang of greasers, trying to get through their lives without the upper class kids of the east side jumping them or killing them. But their is so many twists and turns. SO PLEASE READ IT, TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
